The job role
- Responsible for all aspects of stock management including GP control, stock ordering and stock takes whilst being aware of budgets and financial targets
- Training and development of the kitchen team
- Preparing and serving food to an extremely high standard
- Assist the Head Chef with the profitability of food operations
- Implement and maintain an outstanding and consistent level of customer service
- Ensuring the conference & banqueting aspect of the business is being executed to spec and to customers’ requests
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience in a similar role and similar level – Ideally Sous Chef at 1-3 Rosettes
- Conference & banqueting background is also required
- Flexibility and the dedication to succeed in this role
- Hands-on and will lead by example
- Passionate about providing an excellent customer experience
- Takes pride in their work
- Has their own reliable transport
- Salary of £25,000 – £28,000 per annum
- Tips/tronc in addition to salary
- Representing an award-winning establishment
- Producing Rosette food
- Accommodation potentially available
