We have a new and exciting senior chef position available in a stunning traditional country pub in the heart of the countryside. The owners pride themselves on the quality of food produced in the kitchen and always uses the freshest and most locally sourced ingredients available to give guests the best experience. You will have full autonomy over the menu

We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience as a sous chef in a busy environment and holds the same values as the rest of the team – offering a truly bespoke service to the highest of standards every day.

The Client:

Our client has just undergone new ownership and is very excited to get a new chef in and really make the kitchen their own. They are known for their traditional British cuisine and many functions that take place throughout the year.

They have a close-knit team throughout the establishment. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented and confident chef to work within a relaxed and calm environment, where the food really matters.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have previous experience already as a sous chef or similar
  • Understand and be fully knowledgeable re. HACCP, food safety, etc.
  • Have full autonomy over the menu
  • Build fantastic relationships with local suppliers for the freshest locally sourced products
  • Support the Owner in the general running of the kitchen
