We have a fantastic opportunity for a sous chef to go into a newly refurbished kitchen, in an old English pub located near the beautiful South Downs National Park.

You will be cooking traditional English dishes using local seasonal produce. The menu changes regularly and still keeps some pub classics all year round. The food has an excellent reputation and is a local favourite for people looking for a light bite, three course meal or celebrating an occasion.

The restaurant covers 60 as does the outside garden for the summer where they hold events and parties.

We are looking for:

  • An experienced sous chef
  • Passionate about fresh food
  • A gastro back-ground
  • A strong leader
  • Enjoys the fast paced pub life
  • Wants to develop personally and help the company progress
  • Can help create new and exciting dishes

You will be working in a close-knit team who are striving for excellence and want to achieve a rosette next year.
