We have an exciting opportunity with one of our clients for a Chef to join the growing catering team within a fantastic school. The job role will be to provide wholesome food for our students using delicious fresh produce, you will also be jointly responsible for the organisation, preparation and cooking of meals to create dishes with modified textures for those with special diets.
The rota will include a combination of 7am-3pm and 11.45am-7.45pm shifts during term time with no weekend working and 10am-6pm shifts in the school and college holidays (13 weeks) which includes weekend working.
The successful candidate will need to be qualified to City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ/QCF Professional Cookery level 1 & 2 and have experience in a commercial catering environment. All candidates will need to be able to work as part of a team and should possess excellent communication skills. It would be advantageous to have experience of complex diets, but training will be provided for the best candidate.
